Head Coach and Owner Tim

I first discovered Crossfit whilst studying to be a personal trainer. I was put on placement at Crossfit Dunedin as part of my course requirements and I instantly fell in love. I loved the high intensity, I loved moving my body instead of sitting on machines and I loved working out with other people who were there for the same thing as me, results.
Once I had completed my diploma I knew that I wanted to start taking Crossfit classes, so I sat my level 1 trainer course in 2014 and have been coaching ever since. In that time I have continued to up skill and learn from the best in the world because I want to be one of the best in the world. I want to provide members with helpful information and coaching cues so I can help them become the best version of themselves. I firmly believe that through Crossfit we develop both physical and mental fortitude, and life itself becomes easier.
I love working at Crossfit Dunedin because all our members are friendly, caring, honest people who conduct themselves with integrity, and when I see them achieve something they couldn’t before it makes my day.
My favourite past time is relaxing with friends over a burger and or a beer.
My favourite piece of equipment is the Assault Bike (which I like to call the Devil’s Tricycle).
My favourite workout is Fran.

Qualifications and certifications:

  • Diploma of Applied Sports and Exercise Leadership
  • Crossfit Level 2 Trainer (CF-L2)
  • Crossfit Gymnastics Certificate
  • Crossfit Kids Certificate
  • Crossfit Strongman Certificate
  • Crossfit Weightlifting Certificate
  • 8+ years of coaching and personal training experience.
